Introduction to Hebei Baoding Vocational and Technical College:

Baoding Vocational and Technical College is a state-owned comprehensive full-time ordinary higher vocational college located in the historic and cultural city of Baoding.

The predecessor of the college was founded in 1935 and has a long history of 90 years of education. It has successively won such honorary titles as Baoding Leading School of Vocational and Technical Education, Hebei Provincial Excellent College for Talent Cultivation of Vocational Colleges, Hebei Provincial Model Vocational Colleges, Hebei Provincial High quality Vocational Colleges, and National exemplary organization of Vocational Education. In 2021, the college was recommended by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Ministry of Education as a high-quality school for talent cultivation in national rural revitalization.

In 2022, the college was selected by the Education Department of Hebei Province as a high-level vocational school in the province.

The college currently has three campuses in the east, west, and north, covering an area of 353 acres. It has over 15000 full-time students and 678 faculty members, with 68% being “double qualified” teachers. The college has 10 departments including Agriculture, Forestry and Bioengineering, Computer Information Engineering, Media Arts, Economic Management, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Business Technology, Trade and Tourism Management, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, Art Design, and Architecture Engineering, as well as 3 departments including Marxism Teaching, Basic Education, and Sports. It has built 7 major professional groups and 54 majors around regional leading industries, including agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and medicine, equipment manufacturing, electronic information, construction, finance, commerce, broadcasting, film and television, and cultural tourism, forming a professional group layout of “serving local economy, complete professional categories, and obvious advantages”.

At the same time, the college accurately meets the needs of county-level characteristic industries, and is the first in the province to carry out pilot programs for vocational education to be carried out in county-level areas. Seven county (city, district) sub campuses have been established, including Fuping County, Lianchi District, Anguo City, Quyang County, Xushui District, Qingyuan District, and Gaobeidian City, to cultivate high skilled talents with strong skills, practical use, good performance, and retention on site, providing strong support for the high-quality development of county-level characteristic industries.

It uses CP2 high-definition license plate recognition camera to accurately recognize vehicle entry and exit. At the same time, it adopts a cloud based parking lot management system, allowing mobile license plate input and viewing of vehicle information, making the operation and maintenance of the parking lot system easier.
